honey

The humble honeybee, the symbol of Manchester. We support honeybees and pollinators across the city by creating habitat and managing beehives.

What makes our honey special?

Our honey is just as the bees made it. We don’t pasteurise, heavily filter or blend our honey. Each jar comes from a single apiary and reflects the unique flowers the bees forage on—changing with the season, the hive, and the landscape.

Unlike supermarket honey- which can be heat-treated, ultra-filtered, bulk-blended from around the world, or even mixed with sugar syrup—we keep things simple, small-scale, and respectful.

Bee Welfare

We practise natural, respectful beekeeping.

Our bees keep their own honey for winter, which means smaller harvests—but healthier, happier hives.

We never clip queen bees’ wings, a common industry practice used to control swarming. Instead, we let our bees behave as nature intended.

Bees for Business

We manage beehives and pollinator-friendly spaces for organisations including L’Oréal at their Manchester sites. Want to create a buzz at your workplace or turn an outdoor space into a pollinator haven? Give us a buzz—we’d love to help.

Where to find our Honey

We think it’s some of the best you’ll taste—and so do our stockists: Pollen, Village Greens, Long Boi’s Bakehouse and Just Between Friends proudly stock our jars. You’ll also find us on the menu at the Michelin starred Skof, The Pearl and Winsome.
